Where to start with this engagement shoot?

This was definitely one of the highlights from 2016 for me. I absolutely love how this shoot turned out!

Both Michelle and Brandon are from back East, but they each took jobs in Utah recently. After meeting and falling in love, they got engaged. When it came time to get their engagement pictures, they wanted a spot that really showed off Utah for their family and friends back East. They both work in the outdoors for the government, so it was that much more important to them to find a stunning and unique location that represents who they are and what they love. They suggested Dead Horse State Park near Moab and Canyonlands National Park, which I thought was such a great idea! The day could not have been more perfect and I had so much fun climbing around the red rocks with them! And we were even lucky enough to shoot during a super moon, which made for some really dramatic shots just as the sun was setting and moon was rising.

Michelle and Brandon recently just decided to get married in Utah rather than back East, and I was so flattered when they asked me to be their photographer! I can't wait for their wedding!
